Sashimi (n.)-"thin slices of raw fish"
Refers only to the raw fish , excluding the rice portion

Ingredients :
Short grain white rice
Rice vinegar
White sugar
[Imitation]Crab meat
Dry seaweed (nori) sheets
Sesame seeds
2. Mix the rice vinegar and sugar in a small bowl until the sugar has dissolved, and stir the mixture into the cooked rice until well combined.
1. Boil rice and let it simmer for 15 minutes and then let dry for 10 minutes.
3.On bamboo mat, lay a sheet of nori and place a layer of rice and then sesame seeds. Then flip nori sheet.
4. Add cucumber, avocado, and crab meat as seperate layers. Using the bamboo mat, tightly roll the nori into a compact cylinder.
5. Cut each roll into 1 inch pieces with a very sharp knife dipped in water.
