In Bogota city there are different types of food, I´ll speak of the most representative food of this region

Typical Colombian Food

CHANGUA
The
Changua
is a meal that the Bogotanos eats at Breakfast, consists of this creamy soup made with milk, water, eggs, and scallions. The eggs are dropped into the mixture without breaking the yolks. It is served with cilantro and bread or toast
CALI
Cali has delicious dishes to enjoy, the gastronomy is the result the great fusion and diversity of races and culture that have existed in its history. I´ll speak from my favorites foods
Vallunas
it consists of grilled steak, fried pork rind, chorizo sausages, red beans, fried egg and a side of sliced avocado and sweet banana

THE CANELAZO
The
Canelazo
is a hot drink
it´s made with
aguapanela
,
aguardiente
and cinnamon
"MANJAR BLANCO"
Exquisite sweet prepared with milk and sugar, its result is very similar to milk caramel.
"SANCOCHO DE GALLINA"
Its incluides hen or chicken,
platains, yucca, potatoes
and cilantro
LECHONA
It is a typical dish from the Tolima area and consist of a whole roasted pig, stuffed with rice, yellow peas, green onions and spices which is cooked for ten hours in a clay oven. It is served with arepa.
