Conclusion Questions:

In a real garden, which hormones would stimulate seed germination and plant growth?
Hormones that help with the plant respiration and cell division can definently stimulate a plants growth. But there also needs to be a balance if there's an excess it might cause abnormal growth.

VIRTUAL GARDEN CHART D

Based on your experiences with the Virtual Garden, how would you set up a real backyard garden? Describe what you learned about plant behavior in this lab that will help you cultivate a healthy garden.

I would buy a lot of seeds from my favorite plants, I will cultivate them water them and treat them with all my love and care. I learned that plants need the right mainteniance in order to grow. They need hormones and a lot of daily care.

Analysis Questions:

Which row was the best placement for the pansies, hydrangeas, and sunflowers? Explain your answer.

Pansies should be in row 1 because they use cooler temperature and dont direct the sunlight.

Describe the process of germination and plant growth you observed in the lab activity for a monocot plant. (Hint: Use data chart A to help with your description.)
A monocot has 1 single cotyledon and that has all the endosperm when germination iniciates. Then the cotyledon breaks open and stays underneath the soil, and the leaf will grow upward postion.

Describe the process of germination and plant growth you observed in the lab activity for a dicot plant.

Well the root growth is downward and that provides more subroots, then that grows like hairlike substance, it stays attached as the stem grows up ,then it breaks the soil a leaves develop.

Which of your plants was a dicot? Which was a monocot? How could you tell? (Hint: Refer to the lesson for differences in monocots and dicots.)
A monocot plan is the hydrangeas because of its similiar hair roots, and the dicot plants where the ones that had a taproot, like sunflowers and pansies.

What was the correct water level for germination? Why did this water level work best for all the plants in the garden?
The correct water level was 2cm, It worked pretty well for the plants obviously, cause they were very healthy.

What water level did you select for plant growth during your first attempt? Describe the observations of your plants at this water level. Based on your data, was the level you picked the best choice for optimum growth?
At first I chose 5 cm but that was too much water and they drowned a died.

What pH level did you select for plant growth? Describe the observations of your plants at this pH level. Based on your data, was the level you picked the best choice for optimum growth?
It was a low ph level and the hydrangeas had a different color.

Describe your observations of plant growth in zero gravity. Can you provide possible reasons for the growth patterns? (Hint: Refer to tropisms in the lesson for ideas.)

They would be very unhealthy and grow in incorrect directions
