By:Elizabeth Freiburger Ruby Bridges Accomplishments Ruby was the youngest achiever, and was the first black child to walk in William Frantz Elementary School. Facts Ruby's Quotes " Don't Follow the Path. Go where there is no path and start a trail." Character traits for Ruby Bridges Ruby was very brave and daring to walk into an all white school. Which is why many people look up to Ruby and are inspired by her. She was also very thoughtful and caring, even though a lot of people called her hatred names and wanted her to die, Ruby prayed for them. Praying that one day they would wake up and understand that she is doing the right thing. Pictures of Ruby bridges Ruby Bridges in First Grade She inspired people everywhere to integrate because segregation was against the constitution, and then people began to realize that it was wrong and they should put a stop to it. She gained peoples respect across the nation.
she informs people about segregation and why everyone should be treated equally. Ruby was born on September 8,1954. In Tylertown, Mississippi.
She received her Elementary education at William Frantz Elementary School. Ruby grew up on a farm with her mom and dad and her two grandparents.
Later Ruby married Malcolm Hall in New Orleans, they currently have four sons. Ruby also won the presidential citizens medal. Ruby looks up to her first grade teacher Mrs. Henry and her mother.
She was inspired by Martin Luther King Jr. Ruby is currently 58 years old Ruby Bridges in present day " I now know that experience comes to us for a purpose and if we follow the guidance of the spirit within us. we will probably find the purpose is a good one"
