SFX Mission Statement
Day 1 - Mission Statement
Jesus came that we might have life,
"...life in all its fullness.” Jn 10:10

St Francis Xavier’s strives to build a Christian community of love and respect to educate young people to meet the challenges of life confidently, to develop their unique talents to the full, and to live out the values of Christ and his Gospel.
Day 2 - Live life to the full
Jesus came that we might have life,
"...life in all its fullness.” Jn 10:10
Day 3 - "Carpe Diem!"
Seize the day!
What is a Mission Statement?
A Mission Statement expresses the
of a school community, its reason for
being there in the first place.

It's the
on which all the school's activities
are built.
Lord, help us to make our Mission Statement become a reality, that we may make the most of all the opportunities offered to us
to develop our skills,
to grow as individuals
and to deepen our knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith so that we may live it out each day
. Help us to do so
in love and respect of each other
as we walk together on our pilgrim journey to God. AMEN
Make the most of it!
Don't let life pass you by!
Go for it!
Make hay while the sun shines!
Follow your dreams!
A former pupil of SFX, Ryan Doyle, is most certainly
living his life to the full as a professional freerunner.
He is a 2-time Red Bull "Art Of Motion" freerunning champion and is now sponsored by Red Bull to tour the world, taking his freerunning skills to exotic locations.

Eric Liddell, the 1928 Olympic 440 yard Gold medal athlete and Christian missionary said
I believe that God made me for a purpose. But He also made
me fast, and when I run, I feel His pleasure.
" (His story is told in
the film "Chariots Of Fire")

Lord, give us the
to try new things, to
learn from our
and to push back the boundaries of what we are
capable of achieving,
giving joy to you, Lord
, through the
expression of the talents you have given us.
Day 4 - The Sky's The Limit!
Be positive. Focus on good thoughts and good things will happen.
Always treat others as Christ would treat them, love them as he would love them and you will be helping them to
live life to the full.
Don’t be too hard on yourself. Say, think, and do positive things even if they don't always work out as planned and remember that
God loves you just as you are!
Put your trust in Him.
Even when things get tough, try to always look on the sunny side of life. God has given us so much to be thankful for.
Learn from your mistakes
and don't be afraid to ask for help.
Remember that
the glass isn’t half empty, it’s half full
Lord, you have given me the gift of a new day. Let it be a source of blessing for myself and for others. Let me fill it with love for you and for your children, with mercy and gentleness, with prayer, faith and perseverance, according to your will and not my own. Help me to think more of others than of myself and to keep nothing for myself other than the joy that comes from having given all that I have and am. AMEN.
