Transcript of Fuzzy Mud
One of the conflicts is character vs. character because Marshall and Tamaya have to find out why Chad is a such a bully and become his friend.
Another one of the conflicts is society vs. nature because they have to figure out how to get rid of the fuzzy mud before it kills thousands of people.
I would exceptionally recommend this book if you like mystery and adventure. The book switches back and forth between Tamaya and Marshall's point of view so you get to know every aspect of the story. It also shows chapters of a conversation between the Senate, the authorites, doctors and more so you can understand everything.
Vol XCIII, No. 311
Page 31. I picked this passage because it shows when Chad finds them after they got lost, the beginning of the fuzzy mud and everything that happens because of it.
By Louis Sachar
Tamaya Dhilwaddi the fifth grader and
Marshall Walsh the seventh grader have
always walked to and from school at
Woodridge Academy. When Chad Hilligas
tells Marshall to meet him after school so he
can beat him up, Marshall and Tamaya
take a detour through the restricted woods.
They soon get lost and Chad finds them. Then danger hits them. A few days later the U.S Senate and the authorities get involved in what might be a life or death situation.
Will the authorities solve the situation?
Will Tamaya and Marshall ever get out of the woods?
What will happen to Chad?
The theme is the book Fuzzy Mud is that things aren't always what they seem. This is the theme because nobody knew how dangerous the fuzzy mud could be.
