Transcript of Promote and Publicize FCCLA

Time is Essential PHS is full of students
that enjoy helping others.
When it comes to timing,
FCCLA has that under-control.
Many students have a busy day after school, most of them don't have time
for activities. We promote FCCLA through many activities. Homecoming week is in October for the students at PHS not only did we participate in the Pelham City parade, FCCLA also hosted a tailgate for the students and parents. We also showed off our school spirit by selling football buttons and gold/blue bead necklaces. During the month of February FCCLA teamed up the American's Heart Association (AHA) by selling Rock the beat t-shirts during all lunch periods. On February 14th, we traveled to the nursing home and passed out our handmade Valentine cards to the senior citizens. We meet during school. When you miss a meeting text Mrs. Prothro to find out the events we have planned for that month or check out it on our Facebook Page. Also, reminders are sent for FCCLA members. Majority of the students at Pelham High School are active in extra curriculum activities such as sports, FCCLA, FBLA, Journalism, Senior Beta Club, Dream-girls, Young Men of Thunder, and FCA. With so many things to do all yearlong at PHS we chose to promote and publicize FCCLA here at Pelham in many creative ways. We formed a plan that best fits the students at our school after taking a survey. We developed flyers, t-shirts, a commercial, announcements, and placed updates and upcoming events on social media and our very own bulletin board in the hallway. Students are very active with FCCLA, those who aren't involve should really consider it for next school year.

Table of Contents Public Awareness & Promoting FCCLA Whose involved in FCCLA ? Brochure Used as We Campaigned for members Enrollment at PHS was 28 members last school year and 35 this school year.
Seniors most likely didn't participate much compared to last school year because we got a new adviser.
Students said that of lack of time after school schedule was a reason why they couldn't join FCCLA at the start of the new school year. Promotion Plan Description https://www.facebook.com/#!/PelhamHighFcclaGeorgia Evidence of Campaign We held a FCCLA Poll Survey. We computed the information given to students at PHS. Most Freshman had never heard of FCCLA. So this year we decide at the end of the year to take a trip to the middle school and Promote FCCLA their by having a small rally. Most Sophomores were involved in other activities here at PHS. The Juniors and Seniors weren't as interested because, of the change; we got a new adviser. So went to work to help gain more membership and Promote our awesome FCCLA program here at Pelham High School. Evidence of Public Awareness and Promotion We used our bulletin board as attention grabbers in the hallways. During lunch we played our commercials on the Plasma Screen TVs in the lunchroom. In Percentages What it looks like opened. Inside View Back View Evidence Of Technology We used many forms of technology through the flyers, t-shirts, a commercial, announcements, and placed updates and upcoming events on social media. Our 1st Annual Family Tailgate Participating in the Pelham City Parade. We will send these out to parents awareness of our up coming Banquet and a reminder postcard. Worked Cited
