Relevance to Philippine History
Every piece and details of history as long as the connections of each related places where important. The history each barangay and town are connected to the history of the country. As this study justifies the truth behind the Matang Tubig River and Falls, it is proven that the history of Matang Tubig is relevant to the successive result and outcome of that regionalist victory.
The history that happened in Matang Tubig River and Falls is not as epic as the Death March or as public as Rizal's death in Bagumbayan. On the other hand, the history happened there is also a fact that must be considered as a part of the Philippine History in which the Cabuyeños depleted the number of Japanese soldiers who came across the river for thinking that this is the fastest way to go to Manila, they're main target. The Cabuyeños somehow defended their turf and at the same time weaken the offensive approach of the Japan.
July 4, 1912 , the Philippine Election Assembly and local elections where held, same year where in a certain portion of Matang Tubig is developed. In year 1932, 10 years before the Japanese Occupation started, one portion of Matang Tubig is later on rebuilt, the place where some Japanese soldiers where ambushed by some Cabuyeños.
Under the term of Servillano Platon, one posrtion of Matang Tubig was developed.
