5 Seconds of Summer have released 1 album called 'Somewhere New'. They have also released 4 music videos for their songs "Out of my Limit", "Heartbreak Girl", "Wherever you are" and "Try Hard". 5 Seconds of Summer have not yet received any awards.

Luke Hemmings was born on the 16th of July 1996 and is 17 years old. He plays the acoustic and electric guitar and does the lead vocals. Luke first started uploading videos of himself singing covers of songs. He wanted to form a band and asked school mates Calum Hood and Michael Clifford to join him.

Ashton Irwin was born on the 7th of July 1994 and is 19 years old. He plays the drums and does harmonisation. Ashton joined 5 Seconds of Summer in December 2011. In November 2010, he tried out for X-factor but didn't make it through.

Calum Hood was born on the 25th of January 1996 and is 17 years old. He plays the bass guitar and does vocals. His parents are originally from New Zealand and his sister, Mali-Koa Hood was on The Voice in 2012. Calum made it to Brazil to represent Australia for soccer but had to give it up for his music career.

Michael Clifford was born on the 20th of November 1995 and is 18 years old. He plays the guitar and does harmonising. Michael attended Northwest college with Luke and Calum.
