Location: Capulin National Park, New Mexico, USA
Magma Type: Felsic, Chunky/Blocky lava
Formation Process: When ash,cinder, and lava bombs pile up around the vent of the volcano
Melting Rock Process:
Located on a plate boundary that subducts, the volcano was formed when 2 of the plate boundaries went underneath eachother
Cons:
Eruptions have killed wildlife and burned plants
Animal Habitats were destroyed
Huge plumes of ash clouds killed humans
-----Pros-----
Enriched the soil for new plants to grow/new habitats.
Started new life for animals
Created new habitats by making new plant life in the surrounding area

Location: Hawaii, USA

Mama Type: Mafic,Basaltic lava

Formation process: Eruption of basaltic magma
creates layer after layer of volcanic rock

Melting rock process: Igneous rocks are formed
with the cooling and solidification of magma
and lava

Melting rock process: Located near subduction zone and friction between the movement of the plates creates heat causing rocks to melt
