Transcript of Customer Service at Woodway

Woodway Senior Living We Are a Community.
We Are a Family. Introducing...
Director What is Woodway's
mission? To provide the best care to the people
we serve! How long have you been a part of this company? Since May 9, 2011 What kind of
customers do
you serve? People in the later stages of their lives, 70 years old until
death. How long have you worked in customer service and where do you see it going in the future? I have been in customer service for 20+years. I think that customer service is timeless as well as the empathy and compassion for the people you serve. I think people will always like to pick up the phone and call someone (human beings) versus an automated system. I am hoping it won't go anywhere. Some industries don't need customer service, but for my job, you do! How would you define customer service? It is asking the right questions, listening, trying to be a resource to their questions and/or obstacles. Then to come up with a solution that best suits the person you are serving. Where do you spend most of your time on a typical work day? I spend my time in the community, nursing homes, senior centers and to peoples homes to conduct home visits. About 80% of my time is out of the building. What a Marketing Director does Community relations-Helping people transition into assisted living. For current residents, help maintain their independence while receiving
