FRIENDSHIP By Katerina Polydorou "A friend in need, is a friend in deed" What is friendship?
People have been asking this question for centuries, and we can never know the exact answer that will fit everybody’s definition of friendship. FRIENDSHIP Just like love, "friendship" is something that we can NOT buy Friendship may be only one small part of our life, but it can change your whole life. It is a strong form of interpersonal bond between two or more people. Friendship is one of the most precious gifts of life. Friendship makes life thrilling. It makes life sweet and pleasant experience. It is indeed an asset in life. Friends are people without whom your life would not be complete. They are the people who you know for ages, or even if you don’t you feel like you were born on the same day. They will always be by your side and will help you with any troubles. CHARACTERISTICS OF FRIENDSHIP Certain characteristics are involved in many types of friendship, including: Sympathy Empathy Trust Honesty Loyalty Enjoyment of each other's company Humour Kindness Compassion Mutual understanding THERE ARE 9 TYPES OF FRIENDSHIP A few of these types of friendship are : Best friends Casual relationship (friends with benefits) Imaginary friend The best way for me to describe what friendship is really like is a friend is like a mirror. The reason is because they reflect you. When I say that, I mean by emotionally, spiritually etc. For example, when you are happy, they are happy as well. When you are sad they’re feeling pretty much the same you are feeling too. QUALITIES OF FRIENDSHIP LOYALTY INTELLIGENCE HUMOUR SENSITIVITY HONESTY LISTENING SUPPORTIVE
