FACTS ABOUT ABSTINENCE
By: Llewellyn Sterling

Start
Below you will address the issue of abstinence versus sexual activity in three different ways; implications of sexual activity (this may include health issues that might arise due to sexual activity), a comparative look of rewards and risks of sexual activity and abstinence, and factual statements that a teen might use to defend a teen’s choice of abstinence.

You need to consider knowledge of the reproductive systems, issues regarding teen pregnancy, and the complications involved with sexually transmitted infections to properly draw conclusions in each section. Use learned facts, coupled with your morals, and values when responding to the activities.
Section 1:
This section deals with the possible implications (consequences) of sexual activity or abstinence for a teenager.
Section 2: The issue is abstinence.

You have looked at implications on how sexual activity can affect your goals, emotions and health.

sexual activity

Fun Fact:
From a teenager's mind thinks that if they commit sex as an adolescence, then they think that they makes them grown. Actually, it makes you an idiot.
Choices we make affect our health. What are possible health consequences for sexually active teens?
For teenagers, who are sexually active, can have a consequence of having:
STI
STD
AIDS
HPV
HBV
HCV
Herpes
Chlamydia
Gonorrhea
Syphilis
Crabs
Being sexually active can impact teenagers emotionally. Discuss one emotional impact of sexual activity.
Insecurity.
Reason: When and/or after and/or if having sexual intercourse, a girl can feel more vulnerable to all of the possible aspects that she just gave up something. After all, sexual intercourse takes place mainly inside of a female.
Throughout this course, we have discussed goal setting. How can sexual involvement change or potentially influence a teen’s goals?
Explain how your value system impacts your choices about abstinence versus sexual activity.
In several religions, like Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and Hinduism, they teach that sexual intercourse, or just sex, should not take place outside of marriage. That means do not commit sex when you are not married. Those who interpret these teachings literally and choose not to follow the rules may be able to decide to remain abstinent and postpone the sex until after marriage, or do not commit sex at all.
Option 2
Here is a reality check about abstinence vs sex education from Amanda Marcotte, who gives correct information, and Marc Faletti, who is giving misinformation.

The Message (MSG)
There’s more to sex than mere skin on skin. Sex is as much spiritual mystery as physical fact. As written in Scripture, “The two become one.” Since we want to become spiritually one with the Master, we must not pursue the kind of sex that avoids commitment and intimacy, leaving us more lonely than ever—the kind of sex that can never “become one.” There is a sense in which sexual sins are different from all others. In sexual sin we violate the sacredness of our own bodies, these bodies that were made for God-given and God-modeled love, for “becoming one” with another. Or didn’t you realize that your body is a sacred place, the place of the Holy Spirit? Don’t you see that you can’t live however you please, squandering what God paid such a high price for? The physical part of you is not some piece of property belonging to the spiritual part of you. God owns the whole works. So let people see God in and through your body.
Sexual involvement can really "make or break" your goals, which were either set by the parents/guardians or the teens themselves, could make the person "off-track" with their education, high school graduation/finishing high school, and even going to college.

Cause:
a-> the girl getting pregnant

Effect:
a-> the boy does not taking responsibility
b-> the girl drops out of school/college, but the boy remains in school/college

Fact: When a guy doesn't take responsibility in parenting, then he was basically has both a self-centeredness and a self-seeking of pleasure.
