Nineteen-Eightyfour Satire in 1984 Paradox in 1984 George Orwell introduces us to satire by showing us what could happen if we let dictators take over our society. The dictator will take advantage of a war-time situation and use it to make people follow him. The way George Orwell uses paradox introduces us to the development of a new language which contradicts the current language that we speak. ex: 1984 language: doublethink
