Transcript of Impacts of globalisation

IMPACTS ON PEOPLE IN LEDC's
People in LEDC's are also highly affected by Globalisation both in good and bad ways. They get work which is a good thing for them because they can live for the money they earn. But in countries such as Indonesia people that work for TNC's get so small wage (1$ half of living money) and work in such bad conditions that it's even worse for them. Also the gap beetween rich and poor is very big there
GLOBAL IMPACTS
The main impact's on the world itself are definitely bad. Because Globalisation brings pollution, loss of culture, and shrinks the world. Because of spread of factories air and water pollution now became most serious problems of the world.
Now with enhancing of manufacturing
more products are made by humanity
so more resources are used for it
Americanisation makes everithing
like America and some native cultures
are lost under it's influence.
IMPACTS OF TNC"s
TNC's can affect people badly. People who work on TNC factories sometimes work in super bad conditions like people work on GAP factory in India. They work over-time for half of living wage (1$ per hour) without a normal place to live, running water, food, clothes, toilet, even a chance to take a brake or sit down. For people in MEDC's TNC's don't have a big bad effect but they don't give people a chance to start their new bussines mostly and Monopoly reduces choice of manufacturers for customers to buy goods from. Because most of products in certain type of goods are made by two or three companies. Also one of the worst thing it's that some TNC's are RICHER AND MORE POWERFUL THAN SOME COUNTRIES!!!!
And it causes really big gap between rich and poor.
IMPACTS ON PEOPLE IN MEDC's
IMPACTS ON ECONOMICS
IMPACTS OF TNC's
TNC's can affect our world in good ways: they can help poor countries develop, create jobs for people, invest money in developing sports, culture, medicine, technology and world economic problems. They create new factorys in LEDC's creating jobs for people and investing in developing of this countries. Also they give people who work in their factories recreational areas, chance to play sport, and chance to start own bussines this is what NIKE does in Indonesia. In MEDC's they sell goods and pay taxes which gives customers what they want and goverment money for the country and goverments on other hand give TNC's tax preferences.

Globalisation
Globalisation is the worldwide spread of goods, services, information, and money. It is made much faster with technology we have now. Because of Globalisation people can buy american clothes or korean electronics nearly in any country in the world. But Globalisation also can do bad things for people like taking all the money from them making them poor. There are different opinions for it, you can think of it either as good or bad. Globalisation impacts all the classes of people, environment, technology, architecture, economy, politics, culture and many other things. TNC's - Transnational Corporations like: Nike, Apple,
Facebook, McDonalds, Audi and many more are an important part of Globalisation. So Globalisation can be good or bad for people. It mostly depends on which social class are they in, but you always can look at it in different ways independent of who are you and where are you living.
CONClUSION
TNC's
Globalisation is mostly good for people in MEDC's. Because this countries can buy new foreign technology and goods to enhance people's life. Like America buys new Korean and Japanese technology for their country. So if some country makes some new medicine or totally new type of cars or computers MEDC's will be the first to get it. Also the choice of goods in MEDC's such as countries of european union is much more wide than in LEDC's. But also it brings bad things for this people: first thing is Monopoly (One big bussines takes the production of some type of goods all by itself and doesn't give a chance to smaller businesses not alloving them to live.
Second thing is that people lose their jobs there cause TNC's move their factories to LEDC's because it's cheaper there.
Financial and industrial globalization is increasing substantially and is creating new opportunities for both industrialized (MEDC's) and developing countries (LEDC's). The largest impact has been on developing countries, who now are able to attract foreign investors and foreign capital. Countries such as Nigeria have been able to develop more economical power because TNC's come into country and enrich it.
Also Globalisation makes MEDC's richer and richer because TNC's pay taxes there. But inflation and increasing of cost is also caused by Globalisation

TNC's or Transnational Corporations effect the Globalisation in many different ways. Mostly they help the spread of Globalisation. Firstly they do it through Cheap International Marketing - wealthy TNCs often utilise the vast resources of people for cheap labour in LEDCs such as China and other parts of Asia and Africa. Secondly TNCs have help spread
Globalisation through the use of Advertising. TNC's
use television, interenet, posters, billboards and
other types of public information sources.
Advertising helps spread of ideas and information
in the world.
TNC's now have became too
powerfull in our world and it's bad for some people and good for others so people have different opinions about them.
Personally I think that Globalisation is good because
I live in MEDC and it affects me good mostly. Certainly I cannot ignore how it affects poorer people and environment but Globalisation also is helping to solve this problems. And it gives us a chance to travel, communicate and get things easier.
Also it helps world to develop faster.
