By: Olivia Nedza Stop Child Abuse! Everyone says child abuse is such a bad thing, then why don't you do your part to stop it? The child abuse can be fatal
Nearly one million children die each year

Child abuse stunts children's growth and development. Victims of shakin' baby syndrome suffer from bleeding in the eyes, and swelling of the brain which hinders cognitive development. Victims of abuse/neglect when placed in foster care tend to score lower on cognitive capacity testing language development skills and overall academic achievements. Often the abused child repeats the acts of the abuser. There is no reason for child abuse not to be stopped! MCH Center tells us that 30% of abused children repeat the acts of the abuser

This paper is to raise awareness and the necessity to stop child abuse. The child doesn't just forget about the abuse after it stops, or if it stops. It stays in their memory forever.
