Jackie Robinson Jackie was named the regions most valuable
player in baseball in 1938. Jackie continued his
education at the University of California,
Los Angeles, where he became the Univercity's
first student to win varsity letters in for sports.
In 1941, despite his athletic success, Robinson
was forced to leave UCLA just shy of graduation
due to financail hard ship. pro years by: Owen Dunne
and Austin Thill childhood jackie was born in January 31, 1919
in Cairo, Georgia. He was raised in
relative proverty by a single mother.
He attended John Muir High School
where he was a excellent athlete and
played football, basketball, trak, and
baseball. middle age years
