Most communities are affected by Gangs by creating violence in the community
They affect the youth by peer pressure and convincing the youth to join a Gang
which leads to fighting or death.
The community gets affected by being terrified to walk down the street because of the violence going home

Home boy industries
The organization Home Boy industries is a recovery program for gang members in the community they help get rid of tattoos with free tattoo removal, consulting people that have been through certain traumas, drug abuse programs and employment options. During the time we spent at home boy industries we learned about certain gang members experience
We actually a chance to interview fellow gang members and we learned how they felt coming to home boy industries
