The 2012 Olympics There are 38+ events in the main Olympics Which includes Athletics, Boxing, Tae-Kwon-Do, tennis, weight lifting, fencing, football and many many more. I think one of the best events is Tae-Kwon-Do Its a fighting sport, full of adrenaline and excitement, fun for all the family, does not have blood or major injuries like boxing! Lets meet the mascots... Mandeville and Wenlock Mandeville represents the paralympics and Wenlock supports the main olympics Each coloured ring of the olympics stand for the 5 continents of the world 17,000+ athletes will compete 20,000+ press/media will be in attendance About 216 countries will be taking part There are lots of venues like the ExCeL, veldrome, aquatics centre, Olympic stadium, the Mall and more.. In Bejing we won 15 bronze, 13 silver and 19 gold medals. This is the Olympic Stadium still being built ExCeL is where Tae-Kwon-Do is. Prices for Tae-Kwon-Do range from £20-£95. Dates range from Wednesday 8th - Saturday 11th August. 128 people will be taking part in it (64 men and 64 women). It will also be the third time London has hosted the great Games.
