By: Tiffany Kue Summary: "Sisterhood is the essence of all the wisdom of the ages, distilled into a single word. You cannot see sisterhood, neither can you hear it nor taste it. But you can feel it a hundred times a day. It is a pat on the back, a smile of encouragement. It's someone to share with, to celebrate your achievements." ~ Anonymous Sororities are voluntary organizations on college campuses for female students. They are known for the prestigious social life and wild parties. Although society has given them such a negative reputation, there is more than meets the eye within joining a sorority. Researching has led me to realize what truly is a sorority and the significance of joining one. "It was something that I wanted to be part of because it was noticeable and you could affect people that weren't part your chapter and set an example..."
