Now Write Your Own Situational or Dramatic Ironic Endings (Pick 2 a paragraph each)

1. A couple drive to a dance. They are very happy because it is their 6 month anniversary. Their other couple friends will join them.

2. A detective searches for his wife's killer. He searches everywhere, but is always one step behind the mysterious man.

3. A young boy is scared of a monster under his bed. One night he hears a strange noise and decides to investigate.

4. A business offers a new product to make people super healthy.

5. Two young college students backpack across Europe. They come into a very friendly town and stay the night.

6. A married couple buy a new house that is rumored to be haunted. They keep seeing strange sights and horrifying visions.

7. A man visits his brother in a mental institution.

at it. Slowly her face sobers into a mask of
unhappiness). Ten thousand dollars.
Situation 3:
(Mama has her back to Ruth, who has had to stop ironing and lean against something and put the back of her hand to her forehead.)

Walter. Not scrambled (Ruth starts to scramble the eggs)
Situation 5:
Ruth. Fresh-just fresh as salt, this girl!
Beneatha: (Drily) Well-if the salt loses her savor-
