In 1989 Tim Berners-Lee was credited with the development of the World Wide Web
n 1994, Tim founded the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) as a place for stakeholders to reach consensus around the specification and guidelines to ensure that the Web works for everyone and that it evolves in a responsible manner

Web Design
Web design is the structure and layout of your website. It must look original and put together. There must be a set color scheme, animation, and some white space. Your website should look put together, not something that looks just thrown together.

consider: technical support,data transfer, backup capability, domain name, registration, reliability, other services--email, ecommerce, scripting
many companies are authorized to register domain names(unique name to locate your site)
Every device on the Internet must have a unique IP address
A URL or Uniform Resource Locator is a global address used to locate anything on the Web.
