Philosophy
Alpha Sigma Alpha believes that
recruitment starts long before offering a bid
of membership. Chapters strive to
create meaningful relationships
with potential new members year round. By building these relationships the chapter strategically prepares itself to offer bids of membership to
women who exemplify the values of Alpha Sigma Alpha.
Goals
Reach the chapter fall target through formal and informal recruitment.
PNM understands Alpha Sigma Alpha.
Who we are, what we value, how we are different
PNM feels welcomed, comfortable, important, & listened to.
PNM wants to be an Alpha Sig.
Can see how she fits in, she feels she is wanted, she believes ASA is the only choice for her
Have fun and get some awesome new members!

"Bump Groups"
"Bumping": a system that enables members to talk to as many potential new members as possible during each event.
4-5 members in each group, if you are not in a bump group, you are considered a floater.
Example:
Susie Sister meets Patty PNM and gets to know her for a few minutes, then Susie takes Patty to meet Ashley. Susie introduces Patty to Ashley, "Patty this is Ashley, Ashley this is Patty. She is a TCEM major from Broad Ripple." You introducing them this way will cut down on the redundancy in those basic questions, it will also help you remember her name!
