Importnace of water Water sounds quite simple. Everyone knows that water is a clear liquid that we drink, but many people don’t understand how important water is to us. Water makes up two thirds of the weight of the human body, and without water we would die in a few days. The human brain is made up of 95% water; blood is 82% and lungs 90%. A mere 2% drop in our body's water supply can trigger signs of dehydration. An estimated seventy-five percent of Americans have mild, chronic dehydration. Pretty scary statistic for a developed country where water is readily available through the tap or bottle

functions of water Serving Sizes The food industry is encouraging brands to post vital nutrition facts, like the calorie count, on the front of their packaging. The reasoning is because we are trying to give them a jolt of reality before they reach their hands in to grab another handful of chips.
The message could be muted by a longstanding problem: official serving sizes for many packaged foods are just too small. And that means the calorie counts that go with them are often misleading. So now the F.D.A. is looking to bring serving sizes up to the size of how Americans really eat. anti cancer diet eat less total fat keep you total fat intake to no more then 20% of your total food intake. This means you should eat around 55 grams of fat per day, maximum. Eat the right fat. eating the wrong kinds of fats can be way worse than eating too much believe it or not. Cancer researchers became aware of this fat fact when they noticed that the incidence of most cancers is less in some cultures who actually have a high-fat diet, such as Eskimos Just because low fat foods are low in fat doesn’t mean they’re low in calories. Low fat foods are often filled with sugars to enhance the flavor.
