Neglecting your responsibilities.
Using drugs under dangerous conditions or taking risks while high.
Your drug use is getting you into legal trouble.
Your drug use is causing problems in your relationships.
Physical warning signs
Blood shot eyes, pupil larger or smaller than usual.
changes in appetite or sleep patterns, weight loss or weight gain.
Deterioration of physical appearance (Grooming habits).
Unusual smells on breath, body, and clothing.
Tremors, slurred speech, or impaired coordination.
Behavior signs of Drug abuse
Drop in attendance and performance at work or school.
Unexplained need for money or financial problems.
Engaging in secretive or suspicious behaviors .
Sudden change in friends, hang outs and hobbies.
Frequently getting into trouble (fights, accidents, illegal activities).
Drug abuse affects almost every community and family in some way. Drug abuse also plays a role in many major social problems.

Health Risks
It is hard for drug abusers to quit the drug they are using. Drugs affect your brain. Different drugs will affect it differently. Drug abusers feel like they need the drug and will do almost anything to get it.
