Joel B. Orale. BsEd 2-3 Assessment in a Constructivist, Technology-Supported Learning "Is it bad to memorize for the test?" and "is it not good to study for a score or a grade?" Authentic Assessment -measures Collective abilities, written and
oral expression skills, analytical skills, manipulative
skills (like computer skills), Integration, creativity
and the ability to work collaboratively. A RUBRIC is defined as "a scoring tool that lists the criteria for a piece of work or 'what counts.' " For example, a rubric for an essay might tell students that their work will be judged on purpose, organization, details, voice, and mechanics. In a Constructivist Classroom, learning transcends memorization of facts. This facts are being isolated together to form concepts And construct meaning of them. NOTE: you and your students may develop a rubric.
