Boys As a student, Liam was heavily involved in sports. He was bullied in secondary school and took up boxing lessons at the age of twelve. He was a music technology student at City of Wolverhampton College. Harry Edward Styles was born on February 1st 1994 at 12:06am in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England. He weighed 9.31 pounds. His blood type is B. He sees Justin Timberlake as one of his biggest influences. He also said that he is inspired by Take That member Gary Barlow when performing. Niall James Horan was born on September 13th 1993 at 8:30am in Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland. He weighed 10 pounds. His parents are called Maura Gallagher and Bobby Horan. Niall has an older brother called Greg. Their parents divorced when he was 5. He was a pupil at Coláiste Mhuire, an all boys Christian brothers school. He is a fan of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Michael Bublé, The Eagles, Bon Jovi and The Script. He has been playing guitar since he was very young. He is IRISH!!!!!! Louis Niall Louis William Tomlinson, born Louis Troy Austin was born on the December 24th 1991 at 1:47pm in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England. He weighed 7.3 pounds. His blood type is O. Zayn Zain Javadd "Zayn" Malik was born on January 12th 1993 at 10:00 in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. He weighed 8 pounds. His blood type is B. He has a British Pakistani dad called Yaser and an English mum Called Tricia Malik (née Brannan). Zayn has one older sister called Doniya, and two younger sisters called Waliyha and Safaa. In late 2011, he expressed his desire to quit. Liam Harry Liam James Payne was born on August 29th 1993 at 1:00pm in Wolverhampton, west Midlands, England. He weighed 9.7 pounds. His blood type is AB. His parents are called Karen and Geoff. Liam has two older sisters called Ruth and Nicola. Until the age of 4, Liam had regular tests in hospital as one of his kidneys was scarred and dysfunctional. Liam had once performed in front of a 26,000 crowd at a Wolverhampton Wanderers' football match. He first auditioned in 2008 to The X Factor's fifth series when he was fourteen. He made it to the judges' houses, but Simon Cowell thought he was not ready for the competition and asked him to come back in two years. He had a number of jobs, including at a Vue cinema and at Doncaster Rovers football stadium as a waiter in their hospitality suites. He also admires recording artist Ed Sheeran, describing him as "phenomenal." Born to mother Johannah Poulston and father Troy Austin, his parents split when he was young and he took on his stepfather Mark Tomlinson's name. He has five younger half-sisters, and two of them had roles as babies on the television series Fat Friends, on which he would go along and serve as an extra. After Fat Friends, he attended an acting school in Barnsley. He had small parts in an ITV1 drama film If I Had You and BBC's Waterloo Road. He was a sixth form student at Hall Cross School, a state comprehensive school, and a former pupil of the Hayfield School. He revealed that he failed his first year of A levels at the Hayfield School and ended up going back to Hall Cross and started A levels over again. As a student at Hall Cross, Louis starred in several musical productions. He revealed that landing the lead role of Danny Zuko in the Hall Cross musical production of Grease motivated him to audition for The X Factor. Louis sees Robbie Williams as his biggest influence and idol. In an interview with Now Magazine, he said: "I've always loved Robbie. He's just so cheeky, he can get away with anything. His performances are unbelievable." At the age of twelve he moved back to Holmes Chapel. Prior to participating in The X Factor, the then sixteen-year-old Styles had a part-time job at the W. Mandeville Bakery in Holmes Chapel. Harry says that he often looks to Coldplay front man Chris Martin for inspiration when performing on stage. He also states that The Beatles had an influence on him growing up, as his father would play their music. He is a former pupil at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, a state comprehensive school. His mums name is Anne Cox. She is in a relationship with Robin Twist who owns the house in Cheshire. His mum was married to John Cox but Harry's dad is Joe Milward. He has an older sister, Gemma. He was seven when their parents divorced, his mother subsequently getting remarried. Following the divorce, Harry, his older sister and mother moved further out into the Cheshire countryside. He was the lead singer for the band White Eskimo with band members lead guitarist Haydn Morris, bass guitarist Nick Clough and drummer Will Sweeny. They had once entered a Battle of the Bands competition, which they won. As a child, Harry loved singing, noting Elvis Presley as one of his influences. He also sees Elvis for his musical beginnings. Harry also sees contemporaries, Foster the People, Coldplay and Kings of Leon among his influences. Harry states that The X Factor gave him a lot more confidence as a performer. Random Facts Their UK tour sold out in twelve minutes. Cumulatively, they have over 25 million followers on Twitter. Their global smash debut album, Up all night, has sold over 3 million copies and reached number one in 16 countries. It has been certified triple platinum in Ireland, double platinum in the UK, three times platinum in Australia, double platinum in New Zealand and platinum in the US. Their debut album went to number one on the US billboard chart. A first ever for a british band! They've played at venues across America, Austraila and New Zealand on sell-out tours. They have won two Brit Awards.
