Today's Animation
Traditional Animation
Was accomplished by hand-drawn sequence of images which were slightly different from one another then photocopied onto acetate sheets called cells.
Stop Motion
An animation technique wherein objects are photograph one frame at a time by changing their location or action close to the previous one.
It popularly uses clay as a medium this such is known as clay animation.
Flash Animation
Created using Adobe Flash or other similar program to create images in .swf format.

Motion Capture
Used to generate computer generated characters by recording live action artists wearing suits that allow computer image manipulation to create another character
Photo Realistic Animation
Term used for computer animation that tries to resemble life skin, plants, sceneries and others such as those used in Kung Fu Panda and Ice Age.
Limited Animation
A technique that uses less sophisticated detailed drawings for animation.
Live-Action and Animation
A technique used in movies Space Jam and Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
Full Animation
Movies created using traditional animation are the movies Beauty and the Beast, Iron Giant, Aladdin and Lion King.
