Why is collaboration vital to a team?
Collaboration creates self-awareness, to have people tell you what your weaknesses and strength is a big plus.
You can never learn enough! While in a team you optimize the capacity of new things you are learning which enables you to become more efficient and less time consuming.
How to "collaborate"
to work well with others, interpersonal skills are needed
these include verbal and non verbal communication, negotiation, decision making, and problem solving
1. Get everyone on the same page
2. Set expectations
3. Be open about everything
4. Work together toward a common destination (goal)
How to set a goal for everybody
1. Break down the big picture
2. Set aside personal goals that only you can achieve
3. Be considerate and think about weaknesses
4. Create small checkpoints to keep motivation
5. Decide on a goal everyone agrees with
What is collaboration?
Collaboration is working with others to complete a task and to achieve shared goals, It also enables individuals to work together to fulfill a common purpose
It exists in two forms:
