Transcript of Animal Cell

The Animal Cell Compared to a house Mitochondria The mitochondria makes the energy for the cell, just like power lines give energy to a house. Nucleus The Nucleus is like the house blue prints because that has all the information of its structure. The Nucleus stores all the genetic information. Endoplasmic Reticulum In an animal cell, the Endoplasmic reticulum is a lot like hall ways in a house. It is used for transit within the structure. Ribosomes Ribosomes are small factories for the cell, they create energy. It is like a furnace in a house because it is for creating fire, which is energy. Golgi Apparatus The Golgi apparatus is like a cabinet. It is used to sort things. Lysosome Lysosomes in a cell are like a vacume. They consume many types of particles. Lysosomes digest particles for the cell. Centrioles Centrioles can be like a T.V. because centrioles organize chromosomes and in most homes people aim their furniture at a T.V. Cell membrane The cell membrane is a lot like the door of a house. It controls what goes in and out of the structure. By: Hector Andrade The End
