Sandia Pueblo By: Laura, Matthew, and Jareth Politics:
Sandia Pueblo's government is similar to the state government in terms of structure and authority.
There is a tribal council that is responsible for passing laws, resolutions, etc. Economics:

The finance department is responsible for seeing the financial activities in the entire tribal government.
They also oversee the investments of the tribe. Art/Architecture:

The Sandia Casino was a multi-story building with many pueblos built together. The round part of the building was built to look like a kiva.

Sandia people wore garments with turqouise. Religion:

Sandia Mountain was a sacred place to people of the Sandia Pueblo because it was the center of religion and culture.
Their feast day is St. Anthony on June 13. Social Structure:
The Sandia tribal government includes health and human, police, maintenance, educational, economics, and environmental departments.
In the modern-day pueblo, the men are weavers and women make pottery and assist in house construction. Intelligence/Language:
The Sandia people spoke the southern Tiwa language.
