Arquitecto nacido en Manchester en 1935. Estudió Arquitectura y Urbanismo en la Universidad de Manchester. Después de licenciarse en 1961, fue premiado con la Henry Fellowship (Beca Henry) para la Universidad de Yale donde realizó un Máster de Arquitectur
