Reduce, Reuse, Recycle The Green Giants

Kevin Samoly, Alex Pirman, Mackenzie Griffin,
Cori Burrows, and Kendra Brown South Coastal Academy Chocowinity, NC Year-Round Schedule We believe that each student should be provided with a well-rounded education in a safe and supportive environment. We believe that all students will be encouraged to think independently, reason critically, and embrace diversity. We believe in teaching to the individual and focus on the exchange of ideas through collaborative work, while building successful life skills. Belief Statement Consists of 4 quarters made up of 45 days.
Total of 180 days.
No class changes or bell system.
Team of teachers knowledgeable in all content areas
Self-contained classrooms
School/Team Structure What is Recycling? split into groups and discuss what you know about recycling? School-wide Recycling Campaign each classroom will compete against their grade and the school to collect the most recyclable products
visit recycling center
the proceeds of the recycled products will go toward a new garden the students will plant Student Weekly Schedule Sample Lesson Reduce, Reuse, Recycle 3 week lesson plan Collect Data & Graph Progress
