Spatial Data - Roger Clark, Ashley McDonnell
Spatial Services - Evan Quick, Hossein Parsa

...plus a team of dedicated 'spatialists'!
Open data
We're continuing to put our data out there for everyone to access
Open standards
We publish our spatial data in common, standard formats that anyone can pick up and use easily
Open source
We're looking for ways to make our services available for external developers to use in interesting ways
Cloud services can allow us to:
quickly configure, deploy and change applications
access our data and services from anywhere, anytime & on any device
better leverage real-time and high volume data from internal and external sources

Software as a service (SaaS) - ArcGIS Online
Platform as a service (PaaS) - ESRI Cloud Hosting Services
Infrastructure as a service (IaaS) - ESRI, Amazon, Microsoft

We want a coordinated spatial technology stack
Web - ArcGIS Online, Google Maps
Intranet - Geocortex
Desktop - ArcGIS Desktop, Google Earth

We will be consolidating our applications onto these platforms over the next year or two, starting with a one-stop shop for VicRoads staff to access spatial information
