Copy of The Two Brothers by Leo Tolstoy
Transcript of Copy of The Two Brothers by Leo Tolstoy
The two main characters are the elder brother and younger brother. I think that the elder brother is the wise one because he decides not to follow the stones rules. The younger brother went after happiness and became king but had to deal with trouble.
The setting of the story is that the forest, the rivers, the bears, and the mountain all represent danger to the elder brother
The climax of the story is when the younger brother finds the river, takes the cubs to the house on the hill, and his happiness is that he gets to be king.
The conflict in the story is that they found a stone that gives a quest for happiness. The younger brother really wants to go on it, but the elder brother doesn't believe it will be happiness or if there would be a river at all.
The rising action
The younger brother goes and discovers the river and the cubs while the elder brother stays and waits for his younger brother
The younger brother came back when someone took over on his sixth year of ruling. When he came back the elder brother was living in home and he said it was better here because you probably had to deal with trouble
The goal of this story is that the brothers end up together
