What is internet?
A worldwide system of computer networks.
A network of networks in which users at any one computer.
For many internet users, electronic mail (e-mail) has practically replaced the Postal Service for short written transaction.
By using the internet now we can communicate in a fraction of seconds with a person who sitting in the other part of the world.
The internet and the World Wide Web has made it easy for anyone to access information and it can be of any type, as the internet is flooded with information.
The search engine like google, mozilla firefox, yahoo, internet explorer and more.
Social networking has created new ways to communicate & share information all around the world.
An electronic book is a book length publication in digital form, consisting of text, images, or both, and produced on, published through, and readable on computers or other electronic devices.
A blog originally came from the word "weblog" or "web log".
you can think of it as an online journal or diary.
Blogging is the act of writing a post for a blog.
Library website
Technology has dramatically changed the internet and libraries.
Many library websites have plenty to offer for information that you need and also a great way to know what is going on in your city.
Internet Quick Facts
If ever you feel facts are lacking for a topic, it would not be so for the subject of the internet.
with the amount of work it is capable of the amount of work put into it, with the amount of words linked with it, facts are waiting to be added to the already over flowing list of facts on the internet.
As an almost everyday user did you ever take the time to think, how did the internet start? How big is it? Average number of users?
This are the facts on the internet which one should know whether it interests you or not.
Did you think about the famous three letters we type in the address bar 'WWW' (World Wide Web) Do you know who introduced this phrase and When?
It was none other than Mr, Tim Berners-Lee in 1990
How fast is the internet growing?
Very much faster as it reached 50 million in just 5years where as radio and TV took 38 and 13years respectively.
What about the country which has the highers number of the internet browsers?
It is none other than Sweden with 75%
