Polygons By:Mahitha Jangeti Triangles continued....... This Prezi will teach you about polygons!!!!!! Triangles The triangle in that picture has 3 acute angles. This is a scalene triangle becuase it has no equal sides. Acute Angle Acute Angle Acute Angle NO EQUAL SIDES This is a equalateral triangle beacause all of its sides are the same size. EQUAL SIDES This is a isoceles triangle becuase it has 2 equal sids and angles. 2 EQUAL SIDES Squares This object has a square in it which has 4 equal sides and angles. square In this image there is a rectangle which has 4 sides with 2 sets of parallel sides. rectangle 2 sets of parallel lines This is a non-square rhombus with 2 sets of parallel lines. This particular sandwhich has one right angle on the botttom left corner right angle This particular window is a trapezoid which is a irregular quadrilateral. Trapezoid obtuse angle obtuse triangle 2 sets of parallel lines Pentagon This is a pentagon which has five sides and they are all congruent. all congruent sides This is an irregular pentagon which has all equal sides, but still has five sides. Not all equal sides Hexagon This is a hexagon with 6 equal sides. To get an angle sum you have to take the number of sides and subract it by two then multiply that by 180. Decagon This is a irregular decagon, because it does not have all equal sides.
