Students in Pre K-5 attend dance weekly. All grade 4 students learn ballroom dance and all grade 5 students learn to tap dance. Drama is offered in many modalities. Pre-K -2 have weekly classes with Mrs. Parker, our Drama and Literacy Specialist. Resident Artists and our After-school Enrichment and Summer Enrichment programs also provide theater opportunities. All of our grade 5 students have a class trip to see a broadway show in New York City. Students receive visual arts instruction once a week. In addition to that , resident artists come in and work with the students to create works of art. All of the murals you see around the building were created by our students with the assistance of visiting professional visual artists. Students receive music instruction once a week. Instrumental music is offered to students in grades 3-5. Along with viewing and participating with professional musicians, Rotella students have shared their talents with the community. Our musicians have performed at the Cheshire House Convalescent Center, the Timex Museum and at the Palace Theater. Our vision is to
