전력계통 적용 예:

예측과정에서 얻을 수 있는 Tangent 벡터 성분에서 다양한 정보를 얻을 수 있다.
PV 해석의 경우 약한 모선의 정보

해의 경로의 Nose point에서 (Bifurcation diagram의 경우 SNB)에서 감도해석을 수행하여, Nose point에 대한 각 제어 파라미터의 감도를 획득할 수 있다.

Ybus의 대각성분 (Yii) 은 자기 어드미턴스 (self admittance) 성분이라고 하며, 해당 모선 (i) 에 연결되어 있는 branch의 어드미턴스 (primitive admittance)들의 합으로 나타난다.
비대각 성분 (Yij) 은 두 모선(i, j)을 연결하는 어드미턴스 성분의 합에 음(-)을 취한 값으로 나타난다.
Ybus 은 소(sparse)한 행렬이며 (즉, 대부분의 요소가 0임), Symmetric하다.
Shunt (분로) 요소들은 (예를 들어 p line model) Ybus의 대각 요소에만 영향을 미친다.
