Harry feels a needle-sharp pain on his scar, when Quirrell tries to touch him. Quirrell knocks Harry down with both his hands on his neck. Harry's scar was almost binding him with pain, yet he could see Quirrell scream in agony. Harry realizes that his touch seems to make Quirrell suffer in pain.
Harry wakes up at the school hospital. Professor Dumbledore assures him that everything is okay now, and that he arrived just in time to pull Quirrell off of Harry from killing him. The stone was destroyed. Although, Voldemort is still out there, they still continue on with the awards ceremony, where everyone celebrates Harry’s bravery.

Skilled at Quidditch
: " 'Absolutely,' said Professor McGonagall crisply. 'The boy's a natural. I've never seen anything like it. Was that your first time on a broomstick, Potter?' " //
: "By the end of the lesson, only Hermione Granger had made a difference to her match; Professor McGonagall showed the class how it had gone all silver and pointy and gave Hermione a rare smile." //

Harry decides whether he should lie or tell Professor Quirrell the truth about what he sees in the Mirror of Erised. In the book, it says "
I must lie
, he thought desperately,
I must look and lie about what I see, that's all

Voldemort shall not get the Sorcerer's Stone in his hands, since it will make him powerful; therefore, Harry is to protect the Stone away from Voldemort, who is trying to steal the Stone.
"I'd have managed it before then if Snape hadn't been muttering a countercourse, trying to save you."
" 'Idiot boy!' snarled Snape..."
"He spoke in barely more than a whisper."
"Snape, however, was not pleased."
"...except Malfoy, who he seemed to like."
"He swept around in his long black cloak... criticizing almost everyone except Malfoy, who he seemed to like."
"Professor Quirrell, in his absurd turban, was talking to a teacher with greasy black hair, a hooked nose, and sallow skin."
"His eyes were black like Hagrid's."
"...Snape had the gift of keeping a class silent without effort."
" 'Don't push it,' he muttered, 'I've heard Snape can turn very nasty."
Them three, along with Draco Malfoy receives detention with Hagrid, after having caught in the middle of the night outside of their rooms. For detention, they went deep into the woods to find out who keeps drinking Unicorn blood, which gives the person who drinks it, eternal life and a cursed life as well.
Harry almost gets killed by a hooded man, but was saved by a centaur. He finds out that the hooded man was Voldemort, who wants to steal the Stone, with the help of Snape. Again, they sneak out using the invisibility cloak, which used to be his father’s, to protect the stone. Harry, Ron, and Hermione performed impressive challenges as they get closer to the Stone.
