Mesonychids were reported in the 1980's. They found them in Asia and Europe. They lived 60-37 mya. The habitat they lived in was mainly on shore. They ate meat and had four feet. Pakicetus The pakicetus was reported in the year 1983. They found them in Pakistan. They lived 50 mya. They were mainly land animals. They look like the mesonychids and were the size of wolves. Ambulocetus Rodhocetus Mesonychids The year that the Ambulocetus was reported was 1994. They found them in Pakistan. They lived 48 mya. The habitat was sea in the shallow water. The Ambulocetus had sharp teeth and the back feet were used for swimming. Rodhocetus's were reported in the year 1975. They found them in Pakistan. They lived 47.5 mya. They were deep ocean animals. They had a narrow snout and feet were turning into floppers. Basilosaurus The Basilosaurus was reported in the year 1843. It was found in the country the USA. They lived 34mya. They lived in the shallow water like the Ambulocetus. They had flippers. Dorudon Prozeuglodon The dorudon was reported in the year 1832. It was found in the countries Egypt and USA. It lived 36 mya. The Dorudon was in open oceans. It was also a land animal. It had sharp teeth
