By: Sasha Ferguson Channel Management Channel management is the process which a company creates organized programs for selling and servicing customers within a specific channel. How to get goods to the customer.

Example of legal and ethical issue:
Exclusive dealing, Exclusive territories, and Dealers rights. Example of Channel Management Moving and storing of goods. Marketing information management is a function of marketing that focuses on gathering and analyzing information about customers, trends and competing products that could be used to benefit the marketing of a service or product

An example of this would be a survey that could be passed to a customer after purchasing a product.

Example of legal issue:
Example of ethical issue: It is unethical to obtain email addresses for marketing purposes without consent Marketing Information Management. Pricing is a function of marketing that focuses on setting a price for a product or service.

Marketing is the process of planning, pricing, promoting, selling and distributing ideas, goods and services in a way that benefits the company and satisfies the customers. A satisfactory outcome of marketing an idea, good or service is achieved through the six functions of marketing:

Marketing Information Management

Pricing

Product/ Service Management

Promotion

Selling Example of legal issue: Gas stations are not allowed to raise gas prices more than once in a 24 hour period.

Example of ethical issue: By pricing a product or service under market value. Product / service management is a function of marketing that focuses on improving and marketing a product or service. It determines where a certain product or service should be offered, how the product or service should be marketed, and what should be improved to better market the product or service. Example of legal issue and ethical issue:
Accurate information on the product.
Releasing flawed product. Promotion Promotion is a function of marketing that mainly focuses on advertising. Promotion is used to communicate information about and improve the image of a product or service. Promotion is the publication of a product, organization, or venture to increase sales or public awareness. Example of legal issue: It is illegal to advertise using untrue claims.

Example of ethical issue: Advertising in a way that causes customers to set unrealistic expectations based on the use of this product. Selling Selling is a function of marketing that focuses on providing customers with the products and / or services they need or want whether it is retail selling or business to business selling .

Example of legal issue: Offering goods or services to underage customers.
