SAINT
ALEXANDRA Saint Alexandra
is the patron
saint of defending humanity. ~ She was born August 19

~ She died April 23 303

~ Her feast day is April 23 Saint Alexandra was Emperor Diocletian's wife who was persecutor of christians. Saint Alexandra saw many miracles that Saint George had done and realized she wanted to be a christian too. When her husband found out she was a christian he wanted her and St.George to be persecuted. But the night of the persecution St.Alexandra had died in her sleep. St.Alexandras symbol is a crown symbolizing her being Emperor Diocletian's wife. I picked St.Alexandra because she is the patron saint of defending humanity. There are many people who are being questioned for their rights, race and even gender for example in Afghanistan girls are not aloud to go to school because of their gender which is not allowing them to get an education and this has to stop. Being a girl myself I am grateful I can attend school everyday. I an use saint Alexandra's characteristics in my everyday life by standing up for my faith and realizing the good deeds that people do in their everyday life like St.Alexandra realized
St.George's miracles.
