Transcript of Copy of Math 110 Project about me

Keith Reinhardt What I'm studying:
My current field of study is a General Studies major. I am transferring into the Legal Studies program at the start of next year. With this degree I could become a paralegal, or work for a company that requires a legal Representative within the workplace. I was raised in a small town called Manton, only consisting of about 1,200 people I diffidently had the small town USA kinda life. Manton is located in Northern Michigan and is about an hour north of Big Rapids. Future Plans:
I would really like to be a part of a company that uses a legal Representative in the workplace. My goal is to help people, and company's through difficult and challenging times. The Distance Formula:
The distance formula is a formula used to determine the distance of two given points or markers algebraically . Real Life Example:
For example if you need to find the distance between Manton Michigan and Big Rapids Michigan you would use the latitude and longitude on Manton, and the latitude and longitude of Big rapids to figure out the distance apart. Hobbies:
Some hobbies that I enjoy are playing basketball, baseball, or pretty much any sport. I also enjoy making music, singing karaoke and my favorite team is the Detroit Lions. http://www.google.com/imgres?q=business&num=10&hl=en&sa=X&biw=1280&bih=921&tbs=isz:l&tbm=isch&tbnid=aMB8gNmZ1_YbLM:&imgrefurl=http://tigertechs.wordpress.com/the-problem/&docid=2uAoudtJDAskGM&imgurl=http://tigertechs.files.wordpress.com/2010/03/it232.jpg&w=1200&h=774&ei=wPJhUILdG6eayQHkxIDICw&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=764&vpy=506&dur=597&hovh=180&hovw=280&tx=177&ty=108&sig=115881031330183914156&page=3&tbnh=174&tbnw=238&start=45&ndsp=25&ved=1t:429,r:3,s:45,i:311 http://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/7/2011/02/snl.png Work Cited http://townmapsusa.com/images/maps/map_of_manton_mi.jpg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VlVy0-GvmHY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9W2VqBIlpo&feature=plcp http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=amO452yjHn4 Example: (2,1) and (19,2).
You would need to subtract x2 - x1 then square that. That equals 19-2=17. Then square that, 17^2=289.
Then subtract y2- y1 then square that. That equals 2-1=1. Then square that, 1^2=1. Then you need to add the two sums together. So that would be 289+1. That would equal 290. Now take the square root of 290, and that equals 17.02 which is your answer. Why did I Choose Ferris?
I chose Ferris because it is close to my home, and Ferris also offers a lot of programs as well. Since I am undecided at the moment I needed a University that had many programs, and opportunities for when I do decide my major. I also enjoy the University life Ferris offers which played a role in my decision to choose Ferris. My Hometown: THE END:
