COPD
Chronic Obstructive pulmonary disease by Thomas yang What is COPD Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or COPD for short, is a disease which cuts down your breathing, preventing you to take deep breaths
It can be sought from chronic bronchitis as well as other things as well
It is also as well the new name for emphysema and Chronic bronchitis, for this are all diseases related to breathing difficulties The symptoms of this dreadful disease a cough that lasts a long time, or coughing up "stuff" (mucus)
feeling short of breath, especially when you are making an effort (climbing stairs, exercising)
many lung infections that last a long time (the flu, acute bronchitis, pneumonia, etc.)
wheezing (a whistling sound when you breathe)
feeling tired (fatigue)
losing weight without trying Causes of COPD Smoking – related to most lung problems
Other lung irritants, like the pollution here in GuangZhou, as well as dust mites, and others.
In rare cases, a condition called AAT (a protein) deficiency, thus creating fewer amounts of AAT
Having low amounts of AAT, a protein, leads to COPD being worsened at a quicker rate when exposed to other lung irritations. that's terrible Diagnosis/Treatment This disease is nearly unreversible
