Why did they come to Australia?
Dr Karl and his family left their home country because of the Holocaust. They were spose to catch a boat to America but since Dr Karl was sick they couldn't. When he was better another boat arrived this boats destination was Australia. They arrived when Dr Karl was two and lived in a refugee camp for a couple of months.
Hopes, Dreams, Achievements and Past Jobs
In 2002 Dr Karl won a Ig Noble Prize, In 2003 he was named Father of the Year and in 2012 was called a National Living Treasure. Dr Karl is a prominent scientist, medical doctor and television and radio presenter. Dr Karl has worked as a medical doctor, taxi driver, TV weatherman, biomedical engineer, hospital scientific officer, film maker, car mechanic, roadie for bands, labourer and physicist
Dr Karl Kruszelnicki was born in Helsingborg, Sweden in1948 to polish parents. Dr Karls mother's side was hidden from him from a long time because she lied about being Swedish and a Lutheran when she was actually Jewish. Karls parents were lucky Holocaust survivors.

Dr Karl went to primary school at Little Flowers Primary School, Wollongong NSW. His secondary school Edmund Rice Christian Brothers College, Wollongong NSW. He has degrees in Maths, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Medicine & Surgery.
Dr Karl's Family
Dr Karl married his wife in Norway under a midnight sun on the longest day of the year. This marrige symbolized that their love would never set. He now has three children a boy aged 22 and two girls 19 & 11. He has taken is 11 year old daughter to Mount Fugi, Japan.
