How to make questions in English
At first:
Check if there is verb "to be" in the sentence, in this case place the verb "to be" before the subject.
Eg.

This is my brother.
Is
this my brother?
* Verb to be:
am, is, are, was, were
.
Otherwise...
Second:
Check if there is any auxiliary or modal verb, in this case place it before the subject.
*Auxiliary and modal verbs:
will, won't, did, didn't, can, can't, could, couldn't, may, should, etc.
Eg.

I can help you.

Can
I help you?
Third:
If there is
no
verb "
to be
" nor
auxiliary or modal verbs
, and the
main verb
is in the
past tense,
use "
did
" before the subject. Otherwise, use "
do/does
" when it´s in the
present
.

Eg.

When using auxiliary verbs such as "

" the main verb changes into basic form in the present tense.

When you find sentences using
perfect verb tenses
