Stimulate and enhance the cooperation between researchers in the EU and Israel.
Encourage cooperation between research and innovation in the EU and Israel by setting a web based system.

Call for proposals:
Encouraging the research and innovation cooperation between the EU Union and Israel
EUROPE AS A GLOBAL ACTOR
Targeted region: Israel
maximum 1 million EURO budget (limited by the call for proposals. Nonetheless, this does not preclude submission and selection of proposals requesting other amounts.!)
Type of cooperation:
Consortium of researchers from Europe and Israel. Balanced partnership between European and Israeli partners, ensuring adequate involvement of public authorities and other stakeholders.
Deadline for submission:
2014-04-29 17:00:00 (Brussels local time)
Objectives of the call:
Stimulate and enhance the cooperation between researchers in the partnership
Encourage cooperation between research and innovation actors from the EU Union and the partner in question
Ensure that progress is made towards establishing appropriate framework conditions for international cooperation between the Union and the partner in question.
At least three legal entities. Each of the three shall be established in a different Member State or associated country. All three legal entities shall be independent of each other.
Key Action 2 (KA2) Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices
Targeted region: Israel
Budget: maximum grant awarded is
150 000 EURO per year
Duration: 2-3 years.
Type of cooperation: Consortium of higher education institutions from Europe and Israel. Minimum three organizations from three different countries.
Objectives of the call:
Support the development, transfer and/or implementation of innovative practices at organisational, local, regional, national or European levels.
Deadline for submission
2014-04-30 12.00pm Brussels time
(if we want to realize the project this year starting 1 September)
Tasks of the project coordinator from the Europe Office
Communication with suggested partners
Preparing the initial draft of the proposal to invite the partners
Coordinating the information gathering from all partners and the academics who initiated the cooperation
Preparing the formal documents of the projects from GCU and all partners
Finalizing the final project proposal and submitting on behalf of the partnership
Tasks of the academics initiating the project
Preparing the following information:
the objectives of the proposal
how they will be achieved
their relevance to the work programme.
the expected impacts of the project
Cooperating with the coordinator on preparing the estimated budget for the project proposal.
Tasks of the partners involved in the project
Preparing the required documents and providing the feedback to the coordinator GCU to complete and submit a project proposal.
