Transcript of Mark Chagall
Mark Chagall was born on July 6th 1887

He was born in Belarus (right next to Russia)

Chagall would also take Jewish themes and combine them with his own style
He was also influenced a lot by the death of his wife in 1944
Chagall had a love for circuses when asked about it he said: "Why am I so touched by their makeup and grimaces? With them I can move toward new horizons... Chaplin seeks to do in film what I am trying to do in my paintings. He is perhaps the only artist today I could get along with without having to say a single word."
This shows that Chagall liked expressing himself with his artwork and also that he had a sense of humor.
