+ Long reading I consume long time to read one novel, however, by that time, I think we learn a lot. By reading a novel, I could think of deep thoughts and creative thoughts. For example, I had more fun to read a novel by imagine in my head the character’s personality or appearance. There are several types of novel, but I mostly read long-length novel. The long-length novel increased on my concentration while I read a book, due to that I could have abundant imagination, improved on reading speed and I could have positive attitude toward reading a novel. After I finish the novel, I can see the improvement of writing skills when I write essay about a novel. The people who didn’t read a novel frequently, they will feel distant from reading a novel. However, if they keep dealing with reading, a genre that teaches a lot is a “novel.” Short Story #1. + Unexpected turning point Short story is one of my favorite that I don’t suffer on reading it. Unlike long-length novel, I can read it anytime with no burden. It is convenient. Also, a short story has compressed meanings inside. It is not hard to find, but once we find we get interest on it. One more thing, that is interesting is that short story has a turning point that no one expected to happen. Whenever I read a short story I am always excited to find a turning point. I think a turning point of a short story is a charm that attracts people to read. #2. The little prince 1. But he would always answer, “That’s a hat.” Then I wouldn’t talk about boa constrictors or jungles or stars. I would put myself on his level and talk about bridge and golf and politics and neckties. And my grown-up was glad to know such a reasonable person. 2. If some one loves a flower of which just one example exists among all the millions and millions of stars, that’s enough to make him happy when he looks at the stars. He tells himself, “My flower’s up there somewhere. . . .” But if the sheep eats the flower, then for him it’s as if, suddenly, all the stars went out. And that isn’t important? + Deep thoughts A charm point of a poetry is that while I read a poem, sometime we naturally went deep inside a poem and made me think. Sometimes, a poem make me emotional depends on kind of poem.
One thing that is curious, poem is easy to memories. I think it is because of rhythm with rhyme, which make us to remember a poem for long. Exampls of poetry Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?

+ detail of understanding A theater/plays is a real play, we watch through alive. That make me concentrate on each detailed part and that increases understanding of a story. I think theater/play is good for someone who doesn’t like to read a book. It is because once they watch a theater play, they naturally goes deep and concentrates how the story is flowing and the meaning.
For me, play is more familiar than reading a book because an actor and actress are existing in the same space. So, it is greater to receive emotions through play than reading books. Also, I can find interest on understanding of each character’s characteristics and voices. Examples of theater/play #1. Hamlet I am thy father's spirit,

+ controls emotion The literature songs for me, it was not really touching like modern song that we hear every day. But, since I learned the history or some stories behind of songs, I knew what author tried to show, and can see their emotion involved in a single song.
It is also good for relaxing once mind. Whenever I feel gloomy, I listen to music to clam myself. I think it was same thing that they did to relax or consulate themselves from some situation they had.
The song is simple and easy to memorize as poem. Unlike reading a long story, it is not pressure to read one and study. Examples of songs #1. Swing low sweet chariot Swing low, sweet chariot

+ curiosity Revelation of cultures are often found in the reading. A reading that includes tradition, which is culture, is expanding my curiosity. Sometimes I even wait for the next cultures they follow. It is fun to know the cultures other than my culture because those are all new knowledge for me. What is like the most is the diversity of culture but those are still reveals their characteristics and thoughts in it. Understanding of other’s culture needs time to know their purpose but it is still fun especially, old tribe’s culture. - Expectation Examples of author Most of author has the common writing style, or theme. Before I start read a book, if I search for an author that helps me to prepare reading. It is because I can see his writing style and kind of expect what the reading will be. By prepared study of author gave me great understanding of a reading.
Authors who have common style on their writing, I can chose a book by the styles. I think an author is useful to know before chose a book, or before start reading. #1. Chorus Using simple symbols, which show important details, make me read through the story more fluently because I don’t need to think every time when I read through the same content. Every time, I read the book that includes symbols, I feel interesting and exciting by figuring out what every symbol means. And once I know the meaning of each, I can understand more about the reading. The setting gives great affects to the reader’s emotion. Also, I change the mood by setting of the book but by that I can get more knowledge from a book. It is because changed into fit mood allow me to go deep in to the story.
Also, before I read a book, I can expect what will happen by the setting. So, it gives me ability to foresee the story. Most of a poem is quiet shorter than a novel, but is still involves lots of meaning and symbols are with it.
When I read a poem, first I enjoy and when I understood about it, a poem made me think deeply. I think that is irony of poem and I love it. “No, it is for you, I think,” and they argued like this for a few moments before Unoka accepted the honor of breaking the kola. Okoye, meanwhile, took the lump of chalk, drew some lines on the floor, and then painted his big toe.

As he broke the kola, Unoka prayed to their ancestors for life and health, and for protection against their enemies.
